About Us and Our History:

Founded in 1989

Owned and operated by the Landeros family, PRL Glass started its operation under a 3,000 square foot facility in Santa Ana, CA with three employees. Over the past 20 years, the combination of our hard work and loyal customers has allowed PRL to grow extensively. Upon conception, PRL offered basic fabrication glass products such as glass and mirror stock sheets to the glazing industry. Over time, we expanded and gradually began providing shower doors, all glass entrance doors and beveled mirrors. For our first 10 years, all our fabricated tempered glass was tempered by others. With the vision to offer the fastest lead-times in the glazing industry, PRL purchased our first tempering oven in 1999. Since then we’ve added two others, enabling PRL to realize our goal and provide our valued customers with the fastest lead-times in the industry with three tempering ovens!

We Have Grown

Today, we have grown from three employees in a 3,000 square foot facility to over 400 employees in a combined 250,000 square feet, manufacturing both glass and aluminum products. Expanding our name to PRL Glass & Aluminum Inc., to reflect the growth of our manufacturing capabilities, PRL now offers a volume of sophisticated architectural glass and metal product lines for commercial and residential applications. In addition to basic fabrication glass products, we are proud to now provide premium quality handrail and guardrail systems, storefronts, interior and exterior sliding doors and our revolutionary all glass, full framed and aluminum panic systems. It’s been a dream come true for PRL to reach this monumental achievement growing as we have. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our loyal customers, dedicated employees, lots of hard work and many sleepless nights. We look forward to continuing to grow in the years to come so PRL can continue to offer premium quality products and top-notch service to our customers. PRL is committed to providing our customers with the finest quality glass and aluminum products. Fabricating and extruding most of our products in-house, PRL institutes rigorous, stringent quality control policies to ensure our products are always the highest standard before shipping.

PRL’s panic devices have been tested in accordance to the American National Standards for Exit Devices, ANSI (American National Standards Institute), BHMA (Builders Hardware Manufactures Association, Inc.), A156.3-2008 (Grade 1) and UL305 (Underwriters Laboratories) Standard for Safety Panic Hardware. We also offer further information on PRL’s panic device test results.
